Abstract:

In this article the author discusses reflections from the article of Jon Fieldhouse using the Kawa Model in practice and education. He mentions that the education against practice debate is one that is familiar with educators, managers and clinicians alike. He notes that the Kawa model is infused with naturalistic influences and adopts the metaphor of a river, drawing upon the symbolism of natural components of a river.
